The Vig had teamed up with Bourbon.com, Chicago Bourbon and the Sazerac Company to bring you a night of whiskeys to remember. Our team has crafted each dish to “teach” your taste buds how to to recognize specific flavors in each whiskey.

 

The experience begins with a reception cocktail and Hors d'oeuvres followed by 4 courses that have been paired with 4 tastings of whiskey. Join us for an evening of fine whiskey, delicious food, and an educational tasting experience. 


Menu Released: 


Starter: Charcuterie Board featuring assorted West Loop Salumis, marinated olives, sweet peppadews, seasonal cheeses


1st Course: Crab hushpuppies with cajun remoulade and chopped almonds


2nd: Griddled toast with triple cream brie, arugula, red pepper tarragon and smokehouse almonds 


3rd: Roasted peri peri game hen with red bliss potato hash and spicy citrus chili glaze


Dessert: Bourbon vanilla flan with oranges, caramel sauce and nutmeg sea salt
