identifying 8 common off-flavors, and their origins in beer. With a self
quiz at the end you will be armed with more beer drinking knowledge than 99% of the 40,000 people roaming the convention center halls.A little about Melissa so you know she's legit:Melissa's
passion for beer began while studying Biology at the University of
Delaware and working for Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant. After
5 years at Iron Hill, she relocated to Colorado and joined the Quality
Assurance Department at Avery Brewing Company where she developed and
managed their sensory program. Melissa is also a Certified Cicerone® and BJCP Recognized Judge. She
considers herself an ambassador for quality beer and enjoys sharing her
knowledge of brewing science, best practices, and flavor chemistry.
