Colbert Forrest is a folk artist based out of Austin, Texas. After playing in a drunk party rock band for 3 years, he took a summer to debrief and develop a vulnerable musical style. The result, Strangers, is an EP that focuses on the loss of love and how someone you once knew so intimately becomes a complete outsider. Written and recorded on cassette tapes, the material showcases a unique lofi style of yearning and introspection.
