Matt Muse is a Hip-Hop artist/producer from Chicago. After completing the Spring 2015 ‘Got Bars’ class of Kanye West’s & Rhymefest’s non-profit Donda’s House, Matt quietly burst onto the Chicago Hip-Hop scene.

He was featured on ‘Sway in the Morning’ in the summer of 2015, and he has performed at multiple venues throughout Chicago; the most notable being headlining Chicago’s TIP Fest in July 2016 & on the September 2016 ‘AAHH! Fest’ main stage alongside J. Cole, Common, Vic Mensa, The Roots & more.

Matt was a featured speaker at the 2016 NIU TedX event where he did a ‘TED Talk’ that discussed the impact that Hip-Hop has had on his life & many others.

Matt joined the Young Chicago Authors Teacher Artist Core as an Emerging Teaching Artist in September of 2016. His goal is to use his knowledge of Hip-Hop and lyricism to encourage progressive thought in his students and push them to express themselves.

On March 7th, 2017 he released his debut EP The SiKK Tape via Midwest hip-hop blog Fake Shore Drive. It has since been featured in & praised by The Chicago Reader & numerous other blogs & publications.

On March 29th, 2017 he embarked on a 13 stop promotional tour for The SiKK Tape entitled The SiKK Tour that spanned the eastern/southern United States & Canada and featured three shows (Cincinnati, OH, Cleveland, OH, & Bloomington, IN) where Matt performed as support on Malcolm London’s Opia Tour.

Hailing from Chicago, IL, The emerging singer/songwriter Shawnee Dez wants nothing more than to share her god given vocals and consciousness among vast audiences. only In the early stages of her career, Shawnee intently engages her audience, encouraging energy exchanges - By immersing herself in public meditation translated by way of a dynamic multi-ranged alto melodic sound.

In celebration of her debut EP titled Day Child, Shawnee talks about the quest of an individual’s evolution in the sense that its no walk in the park, reminding us that its counterproductive to walk only by sight. When you see Shawnee perform, you cannot ignore her comfortability. Its literally communicable, so much, you believe its just you and her in an earthy sanctuary filled with greenery and energy muse materials. The concept behind Shawnee's Debut Ep Title, Day Child, is to Make her audience aware that her contributions to the Music Community is a seed that has just been planted.

"Sit in your silence, lay back and just watch the skies grow. Cast the spell of happiness upon your body, and, Float Away." - Shawnee Dez
