We are From Within The Trench Coming from northern Colorado trying to make a difference in the local music scene. Very different style of metal our own little funk we are always looking for shows to hop onto we also LOVE house shows. Were all the closest friends coming from Loveland,Colorado but don't let the name mislead you the brutalness will only become greater:)
To Perish and Purge started in Loveland Colorado in July of 2014. The original lineup consisted of Morris Heilman (Drums), Jacob Castillo (Vocals), and Elex Payne (Guitar), under the name Mutilating the Masses. It wasn't until September 2014 that Felipe Lehtinen and Tanis Weber officially joined the band. Over the course of a few months we had written enough songs to play a show with Forever the Fool, and The Nocturnicon at the Hero Depot in February of 2014. The band has kept developing since then, adding more and more technicality to their songs and playing shows.
2017 promises to be a huge year for Sleep Signals, starting with the release of their new single, “I’ll Save You”, on 1/27/17, along with an accompanying music video that the band shot in the frigid woods of Minnesota. The single was produced by Justin Rimer (Saving Abel, 12 Stones) at Crosstrax Studio in Memphis, TN, and is the precursor to the upcoming album, "At the End of the World," coming out in September.
Founded in 2014, Sleep Signals have garnered a dedicated following through relentless touring, their explosive live performances, and their ability to blend catchy hooks with their high-energy songwriting style. Since hitting the road in early 2015, the band has played more than 175 shows in over twenty-five states, building a solid fan base across the country.
The band released their second EP, Transitions, in early 2016 and followed it up with US tours with heavy hitters Screaming for Silence and Lydia Can’t Breathe. They have also shared the stage with bands like Seether, In Flames, Saving Abel, Bobaflex, Ill Nino, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Alesana, Volumes, Capture the Crown, The Browning, Letters from the Fire, and 3 Pill Morning.
