Carpinterians know Christmas is right around the corner when they find their neighbors, friends, schoolmates, or even themselves busy with rehearsals for the traditional staging of Charles Dickens beloved holiday tale, A Christmas Carol.

Produced by the Alcazar Theatre, directed by Asa Olsson, and starring an all-local cast, this seasons staging of A Christmas Carol runs Thursday December 12th through Sunday December 15th.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 pm.
2 performances on Sunday 2 pm and 5 pm.

In Nineteenth Century London, this classic tale centers on the bitter, greedy and cranky Ebenezer Scrooge, who holds everything that embodies Christmas in contempt, keeps to himself, is nasty to people and thinks only of making money. He is visited by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley and is told he needs to mend his ways or face the consequences in the afterlife. He is to be visited by three spirits- Christmas Past, Christmas Present and of Christmas Yet to Come. If he learns from these Spirits he can change his future and those close to him. The question is, can or is he willing to change?
