Poison Girl continues to stand tall as one of the last remaining dive bars in the eclectic Montrose district. This laid-back yet hip dive bar is anything but typical. Between the unique collection of vintage provocative photographs lining the walls to the old red iron furniture to the array of neon Christmas lights providing the bar’s only form of lighting, a night at Poison Girl is truly an eye-catching, one-of-a-kind experience. The bar opens its doors daily to all types of people, and nights can get pretty rowdy with a dance floor that often turns into more of a mosh pit. Pinball machines and old arcade games line the back area and the outdoor backyard-like patio with various pieces of old lawn furniture makes for a cool hangout spot on warm days. The real draw to Poison Girl though is their cheap drinks, like $1 beers cheap. With prices like these, you can drink your fill at the same price that you’d spend on one drink at any other bar in the neighborhood. Makes giving Poison Girl a try seem like a definite must.
