It's back and bigger than last year with more BBQ, more beers and more activities. For your enjoyment the 2nd Annual Santa Maria BBQ Festival will be held on April 21st.

- The General Admission ticket ($10) will allow you access to the Festival where a professional competition of 10 local businesses and professional BBQ'ers compete for bragging rights and our #1 Branding Iron Award. A team of local celebrity judges will vote on the “Best BBQ” at our event. You will be able to purchase BBQ, dessert items, drinks and various beers; enjoy live music, activities, a kids corner, and specialty merchandise vendors.

- The All Access ticket ($35) allows you to enjoy all of the above throughout the event as well as a separate competition for “Best Backyard Cook” and beer tasting from over 20 different Local and Regional Craft Breweries in our "Brews & Cues" event. You will be able to sample and vote for your favorite BBQ from up to 15 different Backyard teams. There will be unlimited samples of various types of beers from 12:00-3:00 P.M. You must be 21 to purchase and use this ticket.

Purchase Conditions

This event is a fundraising festival on April 21st at Pioneer Park in Santa Maria, and will benefit our local Kiwanis for Kids program. It will be an event for all ages and will allow us to showcase our flavorful and unique style of Santa Maria BBQ. The event starts at High Noon and ends @ 5 p.m.

The All Access ticket ($35) allows you to enjoy all of the above throughout the event as well as a separate competition for “Best Backyard Cook” and beer tasting from over 20 different Local and Regional Craft Breweries in our "Brews & Cues" event. You will be able to sample and vote for your favorite BBQ from up to 15 different Backyard teams. There will be unlimited samples of various types of beers from 12:00-3:00 P.M. All attendees will need to present a valid ID Card or Driver's License to purchase alcohol or enter with All Access ticket.

NO Pets, chairs, weapons, outside food or drinks will be permitted. Sealed and new plastic water bottles and blankets are permissible but are subject to search.
